Background
John Arevian brought his young family to Montreal in 1956 and opened
Avenue Hardware shortly thereafter.
In 1975 Avenue Hardware became Arevco Lighting. At that time Arevco Lighting
sold only light bulbs. John imported the brightest and longest lasting bulbs
available. As Arevco Lighting grew he began importing quality fixtures
as well.
Today we offer some of the finest lamps, fixtures and
decorative light bulbs in North America.
We manufacture many of the fixtures we sell using parts from artisans
in Italy and France. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products
and the excellent service we offer.

Our Ottawa Location has a wide variety of custom lamp shades, in parchment fabric and glass, that ensure your lamp is one of a kind. Shop online, or make an appointment to bring your lamp in.
Lamp Repairs and Rewiring
With 30 years of experience and expertise, our staff can repair and rewire just about any lighting fixture, including European and Halogen lamps. We also offer replacement parts.
